Sample Planning

Custom BJJ mouthguard sample and approval planning

Turn a sample request into a recorded decision. Define the proposed construction, fitting process, packaging and evidence questions before choosing what a supplier should send.

Mouthguard sample reference and caseSample measurements and approval notes

Independent sourcing coordination helps collect questions and responses. Sample appearance is not certification or a clinical fit assessment.

Move the sample through four explicit decisions

  1. Reference item

Record the supplier model, mouthguard construction, color, storage case and sample revision. Ask which features match the proposed production item and which are display-only. A sample from another series needs its differences listed before anyone approves it.

  2. Dimensions and tolerances

Identify which dimensions must be reported in mm or in and ask the supplier for its measurement method and tolerance. Do not invent a required thickness or material specification. The buyer's request and supplier response should remain separate until the requirement is agreed.

  3. Review and evidence

Assign reviewers for appearance, pack content and any specialist fit, material safety or performance questions. Ask for exact-item test evidence when a claim is proposed, including the model, manufacturer, report scope and revision. We do not conduct or claim completed protective testing.

  4. Signed decision

Record accepted features, rejected features and pending questions against the same reference. A packaging approval does not approve protection or individual suitability. Where review remains unresolved, hold that part of the order decision rather than treating silence as acceptance.

These are comparison routes, not current offers or supplier ratings. A high-end preference can guide presentation or service discussion without proving greater material safety; a budget preference cannot justify omitting mandatory evidence.

Preserve the revision trail

  1. RFQ: list intended BJJ use and quantity by variant.
  2. Sample request: state the questions and named reviewer role.
  3. Review record: attach comments to the actual sample identifier.
  4. Order brief: carry forward accepted revisions and exclusions.

A supplier statement about a family of products is a starting point for questions. It is not proof of the exact custom bjj mouthguard, and a photograph cannot establish fit or protective outcome. Recheck evidence scope if the material, geometry or manufacturing source changes.
